Instructions for downloading resume
as a Word 97 file

The Word 97 version of the resume is more readable than the text versions, but you must have MS Word 97 installed on your computer in order to be able to read it.  Word 97 is included in all of the versions of MS Office 97, and is also available as a stand-alone product.

When the resume is loaded, your browser will most likely give you a choice between saving it to disk or opening it.

If you choose to save the resume, the default file name will be JoelRoseResume.doc, but you may rename it if you wish.  In any case, you will need to specify a directory.  You may open it later using Word.

If you choose to open the resume immediately, your browser will open a Word window and use Word to open the resume.

To print the resume from Word, just click on File > Print, then click OK

You may close the file without saving it if you wish, but if you do wish to save it, you will need to assign a meaningful file name as well as a directory.  The default name is an apparently random sequence of characters.

When you exit from Word, you will return to this page.
