Intensive Advanced Group Leadership Training

 Description: An all day interactive experiential training designed to enhance group leadership skills for task, psychoeducational, and counseling groups.  Participants will receive information on effective group leadership skills and intervention as well as have an opportunity to practice and observe group leadership skills in action in a small group format.

"How To Have Therapeutic Conversations With Students and Clients About Sex: Education, Sexuality, Orientation, and Abuse"

Description: This all day workshop is designed for counselors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and teachers to provide information and guidelines for how to talk directly (and comfortably) with children and adolescents about the topic of sex.  Much of the workshop will be experiential in terms of examining our own fears and misperceptions about these conversations as well as opportunities to practice new skills individually and in small groups.
