  • We have just released a short report on some of the inter-agency dynamics that occured in response to the tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri in 2011 (PDF)
  • We have just released a short (PDF) and long report (PDF) on our case study of inter-agency dynamics that occured in response to Hurricane Sandy in the New Jersey area

 

Participate!

Interviews: We are currently looking people who have helped manage an agency involved in the Hurricane Sandy relief effort in New York. If you are interested in participating in a short interview, please email me to set up a time.

Experiments: We are finishing a set of experiments relating to decision-making in the course of a disaster relief operation and will be looking for participants in September and October of 2013. Specifically, we are looking for:
  • Students at the University at Buffalo
  • Emergency Managers with experience in disaster relief work
