A Little About Me

Born in New Rochelle, NY, I was never the most athletic kid in High School. Especially coming from such a sports oriented school such as NRHS, it was hard to fit in. Being social and interacting with others has always been my main focus whether in or out of school. This notion has lead me to choose to be a Communications major. Talking and counseling others is what I love doing best, and I feel that studying communications as a focus will put me on the right path for having what I hope to be a successful and more importantly enjoyable career. Without pursuing sports in high school, this allowed me to better allocate my time to take up a great number of hobbies such as playing the piano, exercise on a consistent basis as well as reading such classics and some of my personal favorites as "The Catcher in Rye" and "Les Miserables." I then found myself becoming greatly interested in various music genres very much under appreciated for people my age at the time. I feel that people today are too preoccupied with technology and what is going on in the present to stop and think about all of the great things the past has to offer. Soon after my musical intrigue came about, my mother had taken it upon herself to educate me about the wonders of the world. She began by taking me on weekly hikes which later sprung into full fledge trips to such incredible national parks as Zion, Bryce, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Bamff and many more.
