About me

I received the B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Automation and Electrical Engineering from Shandong University of Science & Technology and Columbia University in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Since Jan. 2013, I have been a Ph.D student in Electrical Engineering Department, State University of New York at Buffalo, under the guidance of Prof. Zhi Sun. In the summer of 2016, I was with Genscape Inc. as a research scientist intern.

My research interests include internet of things in complex environments, such as underground, underwater, and intra-body, compact and efficient antenna design using metamaterial, and wireless nanosensor networks with emphasis on biological applications.
