Bicycle Trip to Niagara on the Lake
Ontario - Aug 25-7 2001
We cycled all along the Niagara River parkway from Buffalo to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and stayed nearby
at an idyllic bed & breakfast called the Villa Flora.
This place has a mediterarrean motif, with white stucco walls, tiles everywhere, and an interior pool
inside a tropical greenhouse (also a plus for weary muscles, they have a jacuzzi!). We chose the
Provence room, which had the advantage of a private deck & bistro table.

So that's why they call it the Rainbow Bridge...

Among the trendies & tourists in Niagara on the Lake.

Guarding the bikes outside the ValuMart. We bought fresh produce here and from roadside vendors
for our meals.

Success!

Our private deck & bistro table.

And the amazing greenhouse pool... (those vines are full of flowers).
