I work in our university's marketing and publications office, the Division of University Communications. As our cybrarian (CV), I help to keep the university's main websites and systems functioning smoothly, so our constitutents and visitors can quickly access the information and services they need. This involves a lot of content management (indexing, link maintenance, technical support), as well as working hand in hand to coordinate and support the efforts of other content providers around the university.

I migrated south from Canada and have deep roots in anthropology and digital publishing. In my spare time, I have published an open access journal, as well as serving on academic (e.g. AAA) and community groups [see links below]. My lovely wife and I are restoring a beautiful home in Buffalo's Linwood Historic Preservation District, but whenever possible we sneak off to travel or go kayaking. Some years ago I got rid of my car and now commute to work by metro, carshare, or on my restored 1974 Vespa GTR motorscooter.
