Currently there is no computer system in place at the golf course that would help organize the hundred plus students’ information. The company currently uses a file cabinet containing folders to separate the classes the students are in along with the student’s information.
The proposed database system would create a more organized, efficient, and accessible way for the employees to input all students’ information. The database would also help organize the instructors teaching times and what students’ are in their particular class.
A fundamental strength of The First Tee is the direct support it receives from some of the game's most respected and influential organizations. Their leadership has inspired others to embrace the mission of The First Tee.
