Foad Hajiaghajani photo
I am currently a Ph.D. student at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the State University of New York at Buffalo, under supervision of Prof. Chunming Qiao. My research is focused on developing protocols for Cyber Physical Transportation Systems and Autonomous/Connected Vehicles.
I am part of LANDER Lab (Laboratory for Advanced Network Design, Evaluation and Research) in University at Buffalo, one of the world leading academic groups in designing, developing and evaluating advanced computer network protocols and architectures.

I received my M.Sc. in Computer Networks from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran (2015). I joined the Resouce Allocation in Wireless Networks Lab, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013, and did my thesis in the area of resource management in Device-to-Device Communication and Internet-of-Things under guidance of Dr. Mehdi Rasti.

My research interests: algorithm and system design in the wireless networking areas - Machine-to-Machine Communications, Vehicular and Delay Tolerant Networks, Internet-of-Things, and Mobile Cloud Computing.
