The Scarsdale Public Library
The Scarsdale Public Library was established in 1925 with a donation of 2,500 books and funding from local residents. The library is now amongst the busiest of all of the WLS and boast a collection of over 180,000 library materials.
Accessibility and Hours: The library has a large parking lot and is handicapped accessible. Library hours are very accommodating to the public, they are open late three nights during the week and on weekends.
Setting: The library is set on 11 beautiful acres and features tables to read outside and a gazebo overlooking the pond. The library also offers small individual study rooms for those seeking privacy and a quiet space.
