An Explorer's Guide to the Westchester County Libraries
Mount Pleasant Public Library (Pleasantville)
Located directly next to the schools, this library offers after-school homework help for students in grades K-6 from high school students every Monday through Thursday.
The Mount Pleasant Public Library has an impressive collection of over 500 DVDs in collaboration with the Jacob Burns Center, an art house theater located right in town. They also have an extensive collection of foreign language DVDs and parenting materials. The reference area has plenty of computers for public use, only downside is they are located near the entrance and have little privacy. You can settle down to charge your laptop or tablet in new comfy seats with built-in electrical outlets and print wirelessly! Also take the time to browse the Nu-Garde Gallery, which currently has many paintings and sculptures on display.
The library has its own parking lot and there is a bus stop right across the street.
