During the winter vacation I stayed in Buffalo. I tried to find a job because it is necessary for me to work to take care of my family in my country and pay the bills here.
Life is not easy; sometimes everything is very difficult. So God bless me, I found a job at McDonald's on Niagara Falls Boulevard. The situation is very difficult for me. However, when I think about my family, I am able to accept everything.
I started Saturday, January 3, 2004. The bad experience I had happened because I am working from 4:00 p.m. until closing. For a few days when I finished closing at midnight or 12:30, I couldn't find the bus.
It was snowing, and the sidewalk was very bad. I was very cold, and I was walking 56 minutes to go home, from Niagara Falls Boulevard at the mall to the corner of Depew Avenue and Main Street. I do it because I love my family very much. Someone might think that I am very crazy, but God gives me courage because I am not lazy.
