Pictures from Lemieng, Papua New Guinea 

These are a few pictures from field trips to Papua New Guinea by Matthew Dryer and Lea Brown in or near.Lemieng, a village in Sandaun province on the north coast, just east of Aitape. The language of Lemieng is Walman (ISO code van; Torricelli family) is spoken (though Tok Pisin has replaced Walman for most communication) . The last one is in Wokau, another Walman village.
