Recent Awards

Lijuan Su was selected to participate in the 2011 American Chemical Society Summer School on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Energy (June 26 to July 3, 2011) at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with travel support from ACS.

Susan Mackintosh won the 1st nation-wide NSF IGERT poster competition in Washington, DC.

Prof. Diana Aga was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to pursue collaborative research and teaching in Environmental Sciences at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines from June-December 2011.

Divina Navarro Recipient of 2011 Gordon Conference on Nanotechnology Travel Award.

David TR Stewart Recipient of Best Ph.D Student Poster Award and Travel Award to Laurentian-SETAC Annual General Meeting 2011.

Divina Navarro Recipient of 2011 Environmental Chemistry Graduate Student Award, by the Environmental Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society.

Divina Navarro Recipient of 2011 Graduate Student Paper Award, the highest award given to students by the Division of Environmental Chemistry of the American Chemical Society.

Jerry Tso Recipient of Travel Award for Outstanding Graduate Student Researcher, given by the American Chemical Society AGRO Division to present his research at the ACS Spring National Meeting in San Francisco.

Stacia Wegst Recipient of Kolthoff Travel Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher, given by the American Chemical Society Analytical Division to present research results at the ACS Spring National Meeting in San Francisco.

Elmer Mojica Recipient of 2010 Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching Award given by the University at Buffalo.
