The CLIMB Program™ at UB

CLIMB-NS (Next Step):

• Is a forum for postdoctoral associates for discussion of the latest advances in the field of biosciences and drug discovery,
• Presents hands-on workshops on grant writing, manuscript preparation, public speaking, and preparation for job interviews
• Prepares the postdocs for independence

CLIMB-NS was designed in 2009 to facilitate and enhance the career paths of postdoctoral associates at UB. Postdocs are mentored towards independence and to becoming leaders within their fields.

Currently CLIMB-NS meetings are attended by 4 postdoctoral fellows, and is being expanded to include postdoctoral fellows from other departments within the university.
