Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) Assay Kit

10x Cell Lysis Solution: 25 ml, store at 4ºC

ALP Assay Solution: 50 ml, store in aliquots at -20ºC

Product Description: The enzyme assay kit is based on the alkaline phosphatase (ALP)-mediated conversion of p-nitrophenol phosphate to nitrophenol in an alkaline buffer. Nitrophenol exhibits an absorption maximum at 405-415 nm. The assay can also be used to examine cell differentiation such as osteogenesis, which is associated with increased expression of ALP. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the assay solution should be avoided. Use 1N NaOH as stop solution (not provided) for the assay.
