Official congratulations to Jeff Witmer. Jeff also won in 1997-98 and has not finished worse than seventh for eight straight years.

However, if I add the highest scores from the New Orleans Bowl (1205) and the GMAC Bowl (2289) to Jeff's score, and my scores (1178 and 482) from those bowls to my score, then I win by 233 points.... Ah, the benefit of running the pool.

This game was over before most participants entered. Thus it won't be included in this year's pool results. By the way, I won.

GMAC Bowl

This game was over before some participants entered. Thus it won't be included in this year's pool results. Erik Erikson won this game and David Majerus beat me by enough to capture two-game championship (1578 to 1660).

Scoring

Game scores and winners determine your point total, LOW score wins.

For each team in a game, square the difference between your prediction and the actual score. Add them. To complete your point total for the game, add 1000 points if you did not choose the correct team to win.

E.g. prediction team A 28 team B 14
     actual     team A 21 team B 24
     your score =      49     + 100     + 1000 = 1149
