Teachers are always looking for ways to motivate students to write.  One way to encourage writers is to give your students a real audience for their writing.   Technology has provided us with the perfect tool for finding an authentic audience, the Internet!

The World Wide Web provides an audience by letting students publish writing for the world to read, correspond with people from different cultures, and collaborate with students from far away places.
