am a Ph.D research student with the Signal Processing &
Communications Research Group in the EE Department at SUNY Buffalo.
I am a licensed Professional Engineer*, and I am professionally engaged in Low, Medium and High Voltage Power Systems
design (0.6 - 230kV) with focus on Protection & Control, Safety Grounding, and NFPA 70 NEC compliance, for both substations
and buildings. I have international professional experience working in both North America and Europe as a utility network protection
and control design professional.
I am a member of the IEEE Signal Processing, Communications, and Power Societies.
My research and professional interests consist of:
Statistical signal processing
Modern power systems relaying and distributed automation
Wireless communication physical layer architectures
I am an Amateur Radio enthusiast, and you will find me frequenting 20m and 15m bands mostly using SSB. I hold full privilege amateur radio licenses in both the USA and the UK.
