      Multithreaded web server in C on UNIX                                                                              Sep 11 – Oct 11

 Created web server that responds to client requests. Implemented multithreading (2+n threads) to serve the client requests. One thread listening to requests and second thread selecting the client request to be served according to the scheduling policy mentioned while starting the server (FCFS, SJF) and n threads serve the client requests. Synchronization is achieved among requests using mutex variables.

Software has been developed to send files across network by encrypting them with AES techniques and hashing, embedding them with audio files. These audio files are used to get the file and decrypting them to get the original file.

In this project, we discuss a technique that we call Virtual Web-Warehousing, which helps answer certain types of complex queries in a quicker and more comprehensive way. This project was our first attempt to implement synchronized, coordinated query retrieval simultaneously from multiple web databases. As we avoid storing the data physically in the warehouse, our web warehouses were virtual in nature.
