Michael W. McGlone

I am an assistant professor in the department of philosophy at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Before that I was a Ph.D. student at Princeton University and an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I now live in Buffalo's Elmwood Village with my wife, Lori, and my son, Julian (left).

My primary research interests are in the philosophy of language and the philosophy of mind, but I am also interested in a wide range of topics in metaphysics and epistemology. Currently, I am most interested in a number of issues having to do with the nature of modality. However, I am also working on a couple of projects having to do with propositional attitude ascription.

On this site you will find information concerning some of my current research, my teaching, my curriculum vitae, and links to other sites of interest.
