Senior Medical Student Exchange Program
The State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical
Sciences has entered into an agreement with the four medical universities of
Hungary to provide 3 months credit-bearing senior electives to medical students
in their 6th year of training. The purpose of the agreement is to facilitate the
exchange of personnel and knowledge between medical universities, with the
Hungarian Medical Association of America (HMAA) acting as a liaison.
Students for UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences also can take
elective courses in four Hungarian medical schools. The teaching is in English.
Students may take courses (electives) in any field available for 4th year American
students.
The program is coordinated by Dr. Dennis Nadler, Associate Dean of Academic
and Curricular Affairs.
